Reasonably priced good seafood!Having eaten at Orkid Ria last evening, my hubby and I decided to check this place located at the upper quieter part of Cenang. It had live seafood in tanks and on their menu, one was given the choice of paying more for live and lesser for frozen seafood. I also noticed that their cooking methods were different from the other seafood joints in the busier parts of that stretch of street. Our helpful and patient server took our order of Spicy Char Koay Teow which was Stir Fried Flat Rice Noodles with seafood, Pea Sprouts with Garlic and a good size Fried Red Snapper with Mango Salad. The meal turned out to be very good and the prices were real justified.... cheaper than those in the busy part of the tourist belt!

This restaurant is called The Pavilion at The Datai Resort. We arrived just before rain start pouring. I find this restaurant warmly lit with lantern and candles. It&#39;s quite cozy and the table are decorated with orchids. Our corner table designed to appear floating in the rain-forest canopy. Such a nice view in the evening. We had a set of Tom Yam Goong for our dinner, a plate of Khao Pad, Som Tam Jay to share together. The desert we had is Khao Neow Mamuang. Overall the taste is nice.
